Manu Brazo is an innovative musician who is redefining the concept of the classical musician in the 21st century. With millions of views on his videos, Manu is considered one of the most influential names in the saxophone world on social media, where he has gathered close to 100,000 followers. He is also the creator of the saxophone school AprendeSaxofonOnline.com, through which he has helped hundreds of saxophonists from around the globe to perfect their technique.
His unique sound, sensitivity, and virtuosity have led him to perform in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including the Berlin Philharmonie, the Royal Albert Hall, the Wigmore Hall, the Royal Opera House, St Martin in the Fields, the Presidential Hall CSO ADA Ankara in Turkey, the Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Granada, the Adana Büyükşehir Belediyesi Konser Salonu in Adana (Turkey), the Atatürk Kongre Kültür Merkezi in Bursa (Turkey), and the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville. He has also been invited to perform at significant events such as the Royal Gala Dinner at the Painted Hall in Greenwich (London), attended by members of royalty, and the private retirement celebration of Colin Lawson, Director of the Royal College of Music, at Salter's Hall in London, organized by ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), an organization that regulates music exams in the UK and Asia. Manu has also been an opening act for Sir Cliff Richard in one of his concerts and opened the official Downton Abbey concert.
In 2018, he was named a BBC Introducing Artist and has been invited to Classic FM and BBC Radio multiple times. That same year, he performed at the Proms with the Britten-Pears Orchestra, under the baton of Marin Alsop at the Snape Maltings Concert Hall.
Manu has received many awards and honors. In 2022, he won the Audience Award at the prestigious Prince’s Prizefrom The Musicians Company, the oldest musicians’ guild in Europe. In 2019, he was one of only three Spaniards ever to be awarded by the PDGYA program from Making Music, and in 2020, he was selected to join The Musicians Company. He was also the winner of the Guildford Concerto Competition, Croydon Concerto Competition, and the RCM Saxophone Competition. Additionally, he has been supported by institutions such as the Drake Calleja Trust, The Tillet Trust, Concordia Foundation, and Talent Unlimited.

As a soloist, Manu has performed with leading orchestras such as the City of Southampton Orchestra, the Bayerisches Kammerorchester Bad Brückenau, the Orquesta Ciudad de Almería, the Orquesta Bética de Cámara, the Guildford Symphony Orchestra, the Halifax Symphony Orchestra, the Croydon Symphony Orchestra, the Joint Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory and University of Seville, the Seville Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, and the Guadix Symphonic Band, among others. He has also given recitals at international festivals such as the Tetbury Music Festival, the Perth Festival of the Arts, the Newbury Spring Festival, the Ciclo Noches en los Jardines del Real Alcázar in Seville, and he has performed multiple times at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville as part of the Alternatives de Cámara series with Juventudes Musicales de Sevilla.
In 2020, Manu released his first EP titled "SOLO DIALOGUE", which was broadcast on BBC Radio 3, Classic FM, and Scala Radio. In 2021, he launched his first full-length album, "FOLK-LORE", under his own record label VARIO STUDIO, alongside pianist Pepe Fernández. In this project, classical and popular music interact, featuring flamenco elements, jazz-inspired improvisations, and popular music influences. In 2023, he released his second album, "FANTASIA", recorded in Milan with pianist Bryan Evans, professor at the Royal College of Music and director of Diva Opera. Manu has also recorded works for saxophone and orchestra by Mexican composer José Elizondo, including "The Dawn of Hope" and "Limoncello", with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Marek Štilec. In November 2024, he will premiere "La Leyenda del Noble Caballero", a saxophone concerto dedicated to him by Elizondo.
Manu completed his Artist Diploma and Master in Performance, both with top honors, at the Royal College of Musicin London under the tutelage of Kyle Horch, following his studies at the CSM Manuel Castillo in Seville with Juan Jiménez and the CPM Francisco Guerrero with Alfonso Romero.
